We are a five minute level walk to West Somerset Railway, the promenade and beach. We are an excellent location for a walking or cycling break as Minehead has miles of tracks and paths that start from the town. The whole of Exmoor is easily accessible from Minehead by car, on foot or bicycle. We are just a short walk away from the official start of the South West Coast Path. Farlands House is non smoking and we offer comfortable rooms with 100% Egyptian cotton bedlinen, and source our breakfast produce locally whenever possible, We can offer secure cycle storage if required.

By carFrom the north, leave the M5 at Junction 23 and follow the signs for Minehead A39, eventually passing Dunster Castle on your left go straight on at the first roundabout, you then reach a smaller roundabout, (shops on your right), take the second exit at this roundabout on to Bircham Road, turn right on to Ponsford Road (opposite Ambulance Station) and then follow the road until it joins Tregonwell Road, we are on the left hand side where ample on road parking is available.From the south, leave the M5 at Junction 26, follow the signs for Taunton initially and then follow the signs for Minehead, A358, you will then join the A39 at Williton, continue with signs for Minehead, eventually passing Dunster Castle on your left go straight on at the first roundabout, you then reach a smaller roundabout, (shops on your right), take the second exit at this roundabout on to Bircham Road, turn right on to Ponsford Road (opposite Ambulance Station) and then follow the road until it joins Tregonwell Road, we are on the left hand side where ample on road parking is available.By TrainTaunton is the nearest mainline station, a regular bus service runs between Taunton and Minehead, more information can be found at First Bus Group, taxis are always available from the station taxi rank, allow an hour if travelling by taxi and considerably longer if using the bus service.By airBristol and Exeter airports are close by and regular train services connect to Taunton.
